5.5.2 Connecting Cables




Connection Method
Step 1 Determine the length of each cable based on the positions of the PDC, downstream devices,
and monitoring device.

Cable Layout Rule
cable and the equipment room ground bar, and verify that the reading is
less than 0.1 ohm.
Cables must be securely connected in the correct phase sequence.
Cables must be neatly arranged and cable insulation layers must be intact.
Different types of cables must be routed separately.
Connection ports and cabling methods must facilitate maintenance, cable
routing, and capacity expansion.
Cable connectors prepared onsite must be secure, reliable, and neat, and
conform to specifications.
Power cables, ground cables, and signal cables must be securely
connected. Adapters must be securely plugged or screwed.
The N and PE cables are bound separately from the L1/L2/L3 or L cables
for each circuit breaker. Cables are converged at the beam and bound in
groups by nylon cable ties.
Ensure that all circuit breakers, including upstream output circuit breakers, are switched
to OFF before connecting cables.
OT terminals must be coated with a heat shrink tubing.
After cables are connected, block the cable inlet and outlet holes using firestop putty.

E Preparing
Route the live wire, neutral wire, and ground cable into the PDC.
Connect the live wire to the corresponding input terminals of phases L1, L2, and L3.
Connect the neutral wire and ground cable to the corresponding neutral bar and ground
bar.
Connect the output power cable from the wiring terminal of the PDC output terminal
block to the corresponding load.
