5.4 Installing the PDC

Prerequisites





Context



5.4.1 Marking Mounting Holes

Step 1 Determine the PDC installation position based on its application scenario.
Step 2 Mark the installation positions of PDC Fixing bolts based on the base dimensions shown in
the Layout.

5.4.2 Installing Expansion Sleeves

Procedure
Step 1 Drill a hole at the position for installing the expansion bolt using a hammer drill with the hole
depth of 52 mm to 60 mm.
Step 2 Partially tighten the expansion bolt and vertically insert it into the hole. Knock the expansion
bolt using a rubber mallet until the expansion sleeve is fully inserted into the hole.
Step 3 Partially tighten the expansion bolt.
Step 4 Remove the bolts, flat washers, and spring washers.

The installation environment has been checked with expected results.
The site has been closed off, and notices have been posted.
The PDC has been unpacked and inspected, and no problems were found.
Common tools such as the right angle, measuring tape, level, adjustable wrench, and
marker are available.
You have obtained the Layout.
The UPS PDC can be installed on a concrete floor or ESD floor.
The UPS PDC can be deployed separately or combined with another cabinet.
