Step 5 Reinstall the cable trough cover, fan interconnection terminal protective cover, and rear cover
or side panel of the top air-flow cabinet.

3.4.2 Connecting Cables to the Top Air-flow Cabinets Used for a
Multi-Cabinet UPS
Step 1 Remove the cable trough covers and fan interconnection terminal protective covers, and put
them away, as shown in
Step 2 Connect the ground cable of each top air-flow cabinet to the nearest beam of the UPS cabinet,
as shown in
Step 3 Connect the power cable and signal cable of the top air-flow cabinet to the UPS.
Power cable connection method: Pull out the power cable (04093521-07) from the cable
trough of top air-flow cabinet 1, bind the cable along the post of the top air-flow cabinet, and
connect the cable from the side beam of the UPS to the small holes on the UPS output U and
output N copper bars.
Signal cable connection method: Connect the signal cable (04093521-01) of the top air-flow
cabinet routed out from the fan transit unit to the J23 and J29 ports on the UPS parallel board
respectively.
