Appliance front
The appliance front has a special high-
quality coating (CleanSteel). It is
resistant to soiling and easy to clean.

Do not use stainless steel
cleaning agents on these surfaces.
They will damage the coating.
Do not use the Miele Care product
for stainless steel on these
surfaces. It will cause noticeable
smearing.

Side panels

 Remove any soiling with the Miele
Care product for stainless steel.
Useful tip: We recommend applying
this care product to the side panels
immediately after cleaning. Each time
the Care product for stainless steel is
used, it applies a protective film that is
stain and water resistant. This protects
stainless steel surfaces and helps
prevent re-soiling.

Cleaning the ice cube tray


Clean the ice cube tray
– before switching off the ice cube
maker for a long time.
– regularly, to remove ice and water
residues.

The ice cube tray  is not removable
and can only be cleaned when in place.
 Open the ice cube drawer slightly.
 Press the On/Off button  on the ice
cube maker. The indicator light will
come on.
 Empty the ice-cube drawer,
 Press and hold the On/Off button 
on the ice cube maker for at least 12
seconds.
The indicator light flashes slowly at first
and then quickly.
 Push the ice cube drawer in as far as
it will go within the next 60 seconds.
You will hear the ice cube tray turning to
a slanted position.
 Wait until the ice cube tray has
completed this rotation before
continuing.
Now you can clean the ice cube tray:
 Take the ice cube drawer out of the
appliance and clean it.
 Clean the ice cube tray  and the ice
cube drawer with lukewarm water
and a little washing up liquid. After
cleaning, wipe with clean water and
dry with a soft cloth.
