Using SuperCool and SuperFreeze

SuperCool

The SuperCool function can be used to
rapidly reduce the temperature in the
refrigerator section to its lowest setting
(depending on the room temperature).
Switching on SuperCool
SuperCool is particularly recommended
for the rapid chilling of large amounts of
fresh food or drink.
 Select the PerfectFresh zone .
The PerfectFresh symbol  will light
up yellow.
 Touch the SuperCool sensor  so
that it lights up yellow.
The appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the
PerfectFresh zone.
Switching off SuperCool
The SuperCool function switches off
automatically after approx. 6 hours. The
appliance will then run at normal power
again.
To save energy, you can manually
switch off the SuperCool function once
food and drinks are sufficiently chilled.
 Select the PerfectFresh zone .
The PerfectFresh symbol  will light
up yellow.
 Touch the SuperCool sensor  so
that it dims.
The appliance will continue running at
normal power.

SuperFreeze

Switch on the SuperFreeze function
before putting fresh food into the
freezer.
This helps food to freeze quickly and
retain its nutrients, vitamins, flavours
and appearance.
Exceptions:
– When placing food in the freezer that
is already frozen.
– When freezing less than 2 kg of fresh
food in any one day.
Switching on SuperFreeze
The SuperFreeze function should be
switched on 6 hours before placing
food in the freezer section. When
freezing the maximum amount of food
SuperFreeze should be switched on 24
hours beforehand.
 Select the freezer section .
The Freezer symbol  will light up
yellow.
 Touch the SuperFreeze sensor  so
that it is highlighted in yellow.
The appliance will work at full power to
lower the temperature in the freezer
section.
Switching off SuperFreeze
The SuperFreeze function switches off
automatically after approx. 30 -
65 hours. The quantity of fresh food
placed in the freezer will determine the
duration before SuperFreeze switches
off. The SuperFreeze symbol  will go
out and the appliance will run at normal
power again.
