The configuration can be divided into three tasks:
1. Building the object tree and configuring the object properties for OPC servers
(process communication)
2. Building the substation object tree and configuring the object properties for HMI
functions
3. Exporting the configuration data.
First, you need to build an object tree by adding objects to the object tree. For more
information refer to the respective user's guide listed in 1.8, Related documents. Con-
nectivity packages for certain protection and control products usually contain preconfig-
urations and tools to facilitate the building of the object tree.
