3.1 Maintenance Check List

Outlined below are the maintenance items that must be carried out during Routine Maintenance
Conduct the Maintenance in the numerical order outlined below

(*) Make sure there are no cracks, or chips in the Lower Mirror (Front), Lower Mirror (Back), Cover
Glass (Back) before cleaning. Replace the parts if you see any damages.

Clean the head of the Lower Mirror
(Front)(*)
Clean the Cover Sheet (Front)
Clean the head of the Lower Mirror
(Back)(*)
Clean the Cover Glass (*)
Clean the surface of the Rollers
Clean the Drive Roller.
Clean the Pinch Roller
Clean the Imprinting Head
Clean the Platen
Clean the Photo Sensor
Clean the Ultra Sonic Sensor
Check the movement of the Hopper
Guide
Clean the Mirror (No.1~3) and the Lens
on the Scanner ASSY.
Applying grease on the Gear (SP),
Separator Gear, and Gear (Reverse
3)
Check and adjust the Guide Latch.
Also apply grease on the left and right
Latches.
Check the Guide Gap in reference to
Section 9.2. If it is beyond the
boundary, adjust the Latch positions.
Open the guide and unlock the Main
Latch. If the Main Latch naturally
starts to close, replace the Gas
Spring.
Gathering information when the
scanner is operating.
After cleaning the Scanner run the
Auto Calibration Test.
