Rack installation
Preparing the EBM for rack mounting
Note: This step requires two people.
The Extended Battery Module is very heavy. To ease its rack mounting, you can remove the battery packs
from the EBM by following these steps.
Step 1.
Remove the center section of the front bezel.
Step 2.
Remove the four captive screws to open the front bezel.
Step 3.
Remove the three screws to pull out the metal protection cover of the battery pack.
