DI water connection (pressurised)
ö 60 - 1000 kPa (9 - 145 psi)
The machine is supplied as standard
for connection to an DI water supply of
60 - 1000 kPa (9 - 145 psi). If the water
pressure (flow rate) is below 150 kPa
(22 psi) the water intake time is
automatically extended.
^ The DI pressure tested hose (marked
"H
O pur") with a 3/4" threaded union
2
must be connected to the on-site DI
stopcock for purified water.
,
If the DI water supply is not
used, the electronics must be
re-programmed by a Miele service
technician. The inlet hose will remain
on the rear of the machine.
DI water connection (without
pressure) 8.5 - 60 kPa (1.23 - 9 psi)
(optional)
If the machine has not been set up for
use with a non-pressurised DI water
supply (special order), it has to be
converted for use with 8.5 - 60 kPa
(1.23 - 9 psi) water supply, and fitted
with a feed pump by a Miele service
technician.
When connecting an DI water
container (without pressure), the
drain connection must be at least
the height of the upper edge of the
machine (see "Installation
instructions").
