Removing the Hood

The hood may be easily removed to ease maintenance
procedures in the engine area of the machine.
1. Unlatch and raise the hood.
2. Remove the hairpin cotter securing the hood pivot
to the mounting brackets (Figure 29).

3. Slide the hood to the right side, lift the other side,
and pull it out of the brackets.
Note: Reverse the procedure to install the hood.
