Cleaning and Storage

1.
Lower the loader arms and turn the ignition key
to "OFF" to stop the engine. Remove the key.
2.
Remove dirt and grime from the external parts of
the entire machine, especially the engine. Clean
dirt and chaff from the outside of the engine.
IMPORTANT: You can wash the machine
with mild detergent and water. Do not
pressure wash the machine. Avoid excessive
use of water, especially near the control panel,
engine, hydraulic pumps and motors.

Service the air cleaner; refer to Air Cleaner,
page 23.
4.
Grease the machine; refer to Greasing and
Lubrication, page 28.
5.
Change the crankcase oil; refer to Engine Oil,
page 25.
6.
Change the hydraulic fluid; refer to Hydraulic
System, page 31.
7.
Check the tire pressure; refer to Tire Pressure,
page 14.
8.
Charge the battery; refer to Battery page 34.
9.
Flush the fuel tank with fresh, clean diesel fuel
10. Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and screws.
Repair or replace any part that is damaged or
defective.
11. Check anti–freeze protection and fill radiator
with a 50/50 solution of water and permanent
ethylene glycol anti–freeze.
12. Paint all scratched or bare metal surfaces. Paint
is available from your Authorized Service
Dealer.
13. Store the machine in a clean, dry garage or
storage area. Remove the key from the ignition
switch and keep it in a memorable place. Cover
the machine to protect it and keep it clean.
