Network Utilities

You can use the following network utilities from the IP40 Security Platform GUI:
Ping
Traceroute
WHOIS
In addition to the above utiliities, you can also use the following utilities by using the command
exec:
arp
netstat
nslookup
ping
tcpdump
traceroute
To use the network utilities from the Nokia IP40 GUI
1. Click Setup from the main menu, and select the Tools tab.
The Tools page appears.
2. Select either ping, traceroute, or WHOIS from the IP Tools drop-down list, depending on the
tool you want to use.
3. Enter the IP address in the Address field.
Click Go on the right.
4. The IP Tools window appears, providing the network statistic.
