3. Starter relay
Disconnect the starter relay coupler from

sub lead wire.
Connect the pocket tester (x1Ω) and the

battery to the starter relay as shown.
Battery terminal → Terminal2
Battery terminal → Terminal4
Tester lead → Terminal1
Tester lead → Terminal3
Does the starter relay have continuity
●
between terminal 1 and 3 ?
YES
STARTING SYSTEM
12V
NO
Replace the starter
relay.
4. Engine starter switch
Check the engine starter switch for continuity.

CONTINUITY
5. Wiring
Check the entire starting system for
●
connections.
Refer to "WIRING DIAGRAM" section in
the CHAPTER 6.

Starting system is
correct.
