ADJUSTING THE COIL GAP

1. Remove:
Crankcase cover2
●
Gear3
●
Stay1
●
2. Measure the air gap
and coil assembly
Standard air gap
0.4mm
Out of specification → Adjust.
3. Adjust:
Air gap
●
Loosen the coil assembly mounting bolts
move the pick-up coil assembly
specified gap is obtained.
4. Tighten:
Coil assembly mounting bolt
●
5. Install:
Stay1
●
Gear3
●
Crankcase cover2
