IP Phone User Guide –
Instead of using the phone softkeys, you can click ## while on a call, taking you to the
RingCentral server Transfer menu:
Put Caller on Hold
Press ## Caller will hear hold music you have selected from your online account.
Press # to bring back the caller
Transfer Caller to a RingCentral Extension
Press ## to put him on hold, then enter the extension number.
You can also dial an extension directly from the phone:
Activate a dial-tone prompt then enter Extension number and pound sign (ex: 100 # ).
Entering the # sign at the end tells our network "no other digits will be entered, start
calling now!"
Transfer Caller to Another Number
Press ## to put him on hold, then press * + 1 + phone number + #
Your call will now be transferred. You can remain on the line to introduce your transferred
caller to the next number. Hang up at any time to complete the transfer, or, to cancel the
transfer press **
