What file formats can I use with LinkTheater
Q:
LinkTheater is able to play the following type of files:
A:
Video Files - dat, mpg, mpe, mpeg, m2v, m1v, vob, avi, asf, divx, xvid, rmp4, mov, mp4, vro, m4v, m2p,
hnl, wmv, wmv hd, divx hd
Audio Files - mp3, mp2, ogg, wav, aac, wma, pls, m4a, ac3, mp1, mpa, asf, m3u
Picture Files - jpg, gif, bmp, tif, png
I can't access the LinkTheater PC software from LinkTheater
Q:
Check the following:
A:
1. Check Computer – Check that your computer is on and is not in "sleep" mode.
2. Check the path settings for media content – Confirm that you have placed your media content in
the correct folders you have assigned in the preferences of the LinkTheater PC software.
3. Check computer's connection on the home network – Ensure that your computer is physically
connected to your home network (or wirelessly connected). If your home network includes a
shared internet connection, check your computer's connection by trying to browse to the internet.
4. Check LinkTheater's connection on the home network – Ensure that LinkTheater is connected to the
home network. This can be done by checking if a proper IP Address has been assigned to
LinkTheater (IP Address tab of LinkTheater's main settings).
5. Check that the LinkTheater PC software is running – Check that the LinkTheater PC software is
running on your computer. Check for the icon running in the system tray.
6. Check network security/firewall software – Some network security or firewall software may prevent
the LinkTheater PC software from operating properly. Try disabling the network security/firewall
software.
7. Check that you're logged into your Windows PC – If your computer is running Windows 2000 or
Windows XP, make sure you have signed in.
I can't hear any sound from LinkTheater

Check the following:
A:
1. Check the volume and power to the speakers – Make sure that your television or sound system is
powered on, and that the volume is at an acceptable level. Some sound systems allow you to
choose the speakers to use for output. Please ensure the correct speakers are selected.
2. Check connections – If LinkTheater is connected to any home entertainment equipment, please
check that the cables are connected properly and firmly.
3. the video and/or song file – Make sure that the content you are playing has working audio. Test
the content for audio playback on your PC. Also, make sure the audio format used is supported
by LinkTheater.
