Windows Media Connect Playback

Now that Windows Media Connect is installed on your Windows XP PC(s), you can access media files that reside in
the Windows Media Connect shared folders.
Access your Windows Media Connect PC by pressing the 'HOME'
button on the remote control. The Log In page will appear and a
computer will automatically appear on the display or TV. The format
of the name is COMPUTER_NAME : Windows Media Connect (where
COMPUTER_NAME is the machine name of the Windows XP
computer). Use the remote control's directional pad to select the
Windows Media Connect PC and press the 'ENTER' key on the
remote control.
You have just connected LinkTheater to the Windows Media Connect
PC. Windows Media Connect organizes your multimedia files
automatically and depending on your Windows Media Connect
configuration, your screen may look different,
Using the remote control's directional pad, browse through the
folders and subfolders to find the file your wish to view or play.
Once you have located the file, press the 'ENTER' button to begin
viewing or playing the file.
Video Playback
Press the 'ENTER' button to play a video file on LinkTheater. During the video the 'PAUSE' button will pause the
video's playback (the 'PLAY' button will resume the video). The 'REW' and 'FF' buttons will rewind and fast
forward the video. The 'STOP' button will stop the video playback altogether.
Photo Playback
Press the 'ENTER' button to display a photo on the LinkTheater. Press the 'PLAY' button to play all of the photo
files in that directory as a slide show. During the slide show the 'PAUSE' button can be used to stop a slide show
(the 'PLAY' button will resume the slide show). The up and down arrows on the directional pad can also be used
to change slides. The 'STOP' button will stop the slide show. Additionally, the 'ANGLE' button on the remote
control will rotate an image or photo 90 degrees.
Music Playback
Press the 'ENTER' button to play a music file on the LinkTheater. Press the 'PLAY' button to play all of the music
files in that directory as a playlist. The 'PAUSE' button can be used to pause music playback (the 'PLAY' button will
resume the playback). The 'PREV' and 'NEXT' buttons on the remote control can be used to skip to the next song,
and the 'REW' and 'FF' buttons can be used to rewind and fast forward a music file. The 'STOP' button can be
used to stop playback altogether.
Windows Media Connect lists and organizes files automatically; there are often extra folders that must be entered
before file playback can occur. There is no way to change or speed the process up, it is automatically sorted via
Windows Media Connect.
To exit back to the main Log In page, press the 'HOME' button on the remote control after all file playback has
been stopped.
