Driveshafts Installation (cont'd)
Clean the areas where the driveshaft contacts the
differential thoroughly with solvent, and dry with
c o m p r e s s e d a i r . I n s e n t h e i n b o a r d e n d { A ) o f t h e
driveshaft into the differential (B) or intermediate
shaft {C) until the set ring (D) locks in the groove (E).
4. Install the outboard joint (A) into the front hub (B).

arm tapered surfaces. Installthe knuckle (A) onto
the lower arm {B). Be careful not to damage the ball
joint boot. Wipe off the grease before tightening
the nut at the ball joint. Torque the new castle nut
(C) to the lower torque specification, then tighten it
o n l y f a r e n o u g h t o a l i g n t h e s l o t w i t h t h e b a l l j o i n t
p i n h o l e . D o n o t a l i g n t h e n u t b y l o o s e n i n g i t .
NOTE: Make sure the ball joint boot is not damage
or cracks.

Connect the front stabilizer link {A) to the lower arm.
H o l d t h e s t a b i l i z e r l i n k b a l l j o i n t p i n ( B ) w i t h a h e x
w r e n c h { C ) , a n d t i g h t e n t h e n e w f l a n g e n u t { D ) .
