Configuring the Wireless Communication Card
1. Right click on the WirelessTstatNetwork driver, select Views, then Property Sheet.
2. Enter the Port Name for the wireless card in the Serial Port Config section.
WEB-2xx and WEB-6xx controllers must use option slot 1 on the controller and must be set to COM1.
WEB-700 controllers can use slot 1 or slot 2. Set slot 1 to COM3 or slot 2 to COM4.
3. Set the Zigbee Pan ID and the Zigbee Channel for the wireless network in the Wireless Parameters Config section. All ther-
mostats and the wireless network should use the same Pan ID and Channel.
Pan ID range is 1-500. 0 is not a valid PAN ID option. In multi-level buildings or buildings with more than one wireless
thermostat network on the same floor, set a different PAN ID for each network.
Channel should be set to 15 or 25. In a multi-level building, alternate channels between channel 15 and 25. For exam-
ple, set the first floor to channel 15, the second floor to channel 25, the third floor to channel 15, etc. In a building with
more that one wireless network on one level, channels should also be mixed between channels 15 and 25.
