A DVD-RW is a recordahle mMrewritahle disc
that is the same size as a DVD VIDEO. Tile DVD-
RW has two different modes: VR mode and Vide<)
mode. DVDs created in Vide() mode have the
same format as a DVD VIDEO, while discs
created in VR (Video Recording) mode allow the
contents to be progrmmned or edited.
DVD+R(page 30)
A DVD+R (read "plus R") is a recordahle disc that
is the same size as a DVD VIDEO. Contents call
be recorded only once to a DVD+R, and will have
the same lormat as a DVD VIDEO.
DVD-R (page30)
A DVD-R is a recordable disc that is tile same size
as a DVD VIDEO. Contents can be recorded only
once to a [)VD-R. The DVD-R has two diflereut
modes: VR nlode and Vide<)mode. DVDs created
ill Vide<)mode have the same %treat as a DVD
VIDEO, while discs created in VR (Vide(>
Recording) mode allow the contents to be
programnled or edited.

The picture data is compressed

rate coding technology

changes the data to be allocated
according
to the
stares of the picture. Audio intk)rmation is
recorded in a multi=channel

Digital, allowing
you to enjoy a more real audio
presence.
