Denying Access to CMOS Setup

In special cases, you may want to deny the user access to CMOS setup. In this case, you
must change the jumper from its default position. Use the following procedure to change
the jumper setting.
1.
Power off the system and unplug any peripherals.
2.
Remove the system unit cover (see "Removing the System Unit Cover" in Section
3).
3.
Locate the Deny CMOS Access jumper pins on the system board (see Figure
Appendix B-8).
You may have to remove any installed expansion boards to access the jumpers
(see "Expansion Board Removal" in Section 3).
Remove the jumper block from pins 28-30 and set it on pins 26-28.
