Miter Cutting

The crosscut fence allows miter cuts from 0˚
through 135˚. The table mounted miter scale has
a resolution of 1˚.
To perform a miter cut:
1.
Slide the crosscut table to the front edge of
the sliding table and lock it in place.
2.
Place the crosscut fence center stud in the
left or right stud hole of the crosscut table.
The fence can be installed as shown in
Figure 69 for 90˚ to 135˚ cuts, or as shown
in Figure 70 for 0˚ to 90˚ cuts.

3.
Rotate the fence to the desired angle and
lock it in place.
4.
Position the flip stop according to the length
of the workpiece you want to cut off to the left
of the blade.
5.
Load the workpiece onto the table saw. The
set up should look similar to Figure 70.

6.
Once all the necessary safety precautions
have been taken, perform the cutting opera-
tion.
