14 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

14.1

PRELIMINARY PRECAUTIONS

Before any cleaning or maintenance procedure: it is advisable to perform a complete
thermal disinfection cycle with the device empty (with no load in the chamber).
Then disconnect the power supply using the main switch and turn off the water intake taps.
During maintenance and cleaning: always use personal protection equipment.
CLEARANCE: ensure there is clearance of at least 1m
Any cleaning procedures assigned to the user which are performed on the device by
unauthorised staff are not covered by the warranty.

14.2

CLEANING THE DEVICE

General cleaning
Clean the device's outer surfaces regularly (recommended: once a month) using a soft, damp cloth. Clean the
door seals with a damp sponge. After cleaning: run a washing cycle with no load to eliminate any detergent
residue.
Cleaning the bottom detergent compartment
The detergent jerry can compartment must be inspected daily:
check for any leaks or spills of chemicals;
remove any standing liquids;
when cleaning, it is essential to use the appropriate personal protection equipment, as
recommended in the technical and safety data sheets of the chemicals used;
the detergent jerrycans and intake lines must be tidily arranged in the bottom compartment so that
they do not obstruct closure of the panels;
the bottom door of the detergent compartment must be carefully closed on completion of cleaning
operations.
