Mode selector
The speed (frequency) of vibrations can be changed in
t w o l e v e l s u s i n g t h e m o d e s e l e c t o r .
P r e s s t h e m o d e b u t t o n t o t o g g l e t h e v i b r a t i o n s i n n o r m a l
mode (1) and power mode (2). Either of the two indica-
t o r s f o r t h e m o d e y o u s e l e c t l i g h t s u p .

CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and the battery cartridge is removed
before carrying out any work on the tool.

Installation

1. Pull the flexible core shaft reasonably straight out
o f t h e o u t e r c a s i n g .

2. H o l d t h e d r i v e s h a f t i n t h e t o o l s t i l l u s i n g t h e
wrench provided. Then hand thread the end fitting of the
flexible core shaft onto the solid drive shaft in the tool.

3. Fasten the end fitting of the flexible core shaft up
t i g h t l y u s i n g a p a i r o f p l i e r s .

NOTE: The coupling does not reach or fit securely
o n t o t h e m a l e t h r e a d o f t h e t o o l , w h e n t h e t o p o f t h e
flexible core shaft is not fit into the slot in the vibration
head. To fit them fully, pull the outer casing further
towards the tool while hand-turning the flexible core
s h a f t .
CAUTION:
Do not force the flexible core shaft
into the outer casing. Do not operate the tool with
the battery to fit the flexible shaft. S u c h a c t i o n s
may cause personal injury or damage to the flexible
c o r e s h a f t .
