OPE R ATION
CAUTION:
D o not put t h ings t h at are easily

h eating mode. The food or drink may rot.
NOTE:
W hen operating the appliance in high humid
environment , de w condensation may occur on the
appliance. This is not malfunction of the appliance.

1. C onnecting th e pow er supply
A) Battery
CAUTION:
Always switch off the tool before
installing or removing t h e battery cartridge.
CAUTION:
H old t h e appliance and t h e battery
cartridge firmly when installing or removing
battery cartridge. Failure to hold the appliance and
the attery cartridge firmly may cause them to slip o
your hands and result in damage to the appliance and
attery cartridge and a personal in ury
CAUTION:
Be careful not to pinch your finger
w h en opening or closing t h e battery cover.
CAUTION:
Be careful not to pinc h your
fingers between the battery cartridge and the
terminals. It may cause slas h in j ury.
To install the battery cartridge, open the battery cover.
Align the tongue on the battery cartridge w ith the groove
in the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the w ay
until it locks in place w ith a little click.
Then close the battery cover.
To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the appli-
ance w hile sliding the button on the front of the cartridge.

CAUTION:
Al w ays install t h e battery cartridge
fully until t h e red indicator cannot be seen. If not ,
it may accidentally fall out of the appliance , causing
in ury to you or someone around you
CAUTION:
D o not install t h e battery cartridge
forcibly. If the cartridge does not slide in easily , it is
not being inserted correctly.
NOTE: U p to t w o battery cartridges can be installed ,
although the appliance uses one battery cartridge for

operation.

B) AC adaptor (Only use for
recreational veh icle)
Optional accessory
W hen using the appliance w ith A C po w er , use the A C
adaptor supplied w ith the appliance. Insert the plug to
" D C IN " inlet of the appliance and then insert the other
end to an outlet.
W hen the appliance is operating w ith po w er from A C
adaptor , the lamp of " D C IN " lights up.
C ) C igarette ligh ter adaptor
W hen using the appliance w ith the cigarette lighter socket ,
use the cigarette lighter adaptor supplied w ith the appli-
ance. Insert the plug to " D C IN " inlet of the appliance and
then insert the other end to the cigarette lighter socket.
W hen the appliance is operating w ith po w er from cigarette
lighter adaptor , the lamp of " D C IN " lights up.
CAUTION:
Insert t h e plug completely into t h e
" D C IN " inlet. Failure to do so may deform the plug
or cause a fire
CAUTION:
Al w ays close t h e " D C IN " socket
cover firmly when the power cord is not plugged.
Other w ise foreign matter may enter the appliance and
cause a malfunction.
NOTE: W hen the appliance shifts po w er supply , the
compressor w ill stop for about 3 minutes to protect the
compressor.
NOTE: A ter turning o the appliance, it takes a out
minutes to restart the compressor because of the pro-
tection of the compressor.
NOTE: If the appliance stops by any means other than
pressing the po w er button , the appliance turns on
automatically w hen the po w er supply of the A C adaptor
or the cigarette lighter adaptor is regained.
2. Turning on th e appliance
P ress the po w er button to turn on the appliance. P ress
the po er utton again to turn o the appliance
3. Switching cooling / heating mode
P ress the cool / heat s w itch button to s w itch the
operating mode.
W hen the appliance operates in cooling mode , the
lamp of cooling mode lights up.
W hen the appliance operates in heating mode , the
lamp of heating mode lights up.
