4.1 Port Functions
The µ PD780852 Subseries are provided with five input port pins, sixteen output port pins, and thirty-five input/output
port pins. Figure 4-1 shows the port configuration. Every port can be manipulated in 1-bit or 8-bit units controlled
in various ways. Moreover, the port pins can also serve as I/O pins of the internal hardware.
