DESCRIPTION
Measures transmitted pulse to pulse
time variations.
Checks sidelobe suppression function by
varying the SLS pulse level and monitoring
transponder reply rates.
Verifies transponder replies to Mode A and
C interrogations. Measures F1 to F2 spac-
ing and duration of pulses.
Verifies that the Mode S transponder does
not respond to Mode A only or Mode C
only interrogations.
Verifies that the transponder replies, with
the proper address, to a Mode S All-Call
interrogation.
Verifies that the transponder does not
reply to Mode S interrogations that
contain invalid addresses.
Verifies Ident function is operating.
Verifies that the transponder replies to a
Mode S UF 0 interrogation with the
correct altitude, address, and format.
Verifies that the transponder replies to a
Mode S UF 4 interrogation with the
correct altitude, address, and format.
Verifies that the transponder replies to a
Mode S UF 5 interrogation with the
correct ID, address, and format.
Verifies that the transponder replies to a
Mode S UF 11 interrogation with the
correct address, and format.
Verifies squitters are transmitted from the
transponder at varying intervals about a
one second rate.
