How to reset All Faults

All fault indications at the Mains Powered DAU which are either latched faults or non-latched faults can be cleared by pressing the
reset push button on the Main Control Board. This will erase the fault indications at the Mains Powered DAU, reactivate the local fault
relay and stop the local fault buzzer from sounding. If the fault should still remain then the indications will reappear after a few
minutes.

How to 'Find' Mains Powered DAUs on a loop

If you need to know the address(es) of the Mains Powered DAU(s) on a loop circuit, then go to the Vigilon Compact VA panel and
carry out a Find Device test. It is made easier if there are two people in communication with each other, while one person walks
around the site and follow the devices as per As fitted wiring drawings, the other person operates the panel controls.
The following procedure assumes no password access is required at the Vigilon Compact VA panel:
Press the Menu On/Off button and then [Test/Eng] ->[Loop] ->[Find Dev], now enter a CARD number n to select the loop
a
circuit on which the Mains Powered DAU(s) are located, then select the [Start] option and type in a device number, if known, or
as an alternative enter device number 1 and select [Enter]. The display shows the device and loop numbers:
Number 1 on Loop 1
Select [Next] to find the next device on the loop if starting from address 1. At any stage if the previous device needs to be found
b
then select [Previous].
A found device will give a visual or audible indication and at the Mains Powered DAU there will be a flashing green LED on the
MCB.
