Removing air preserves food for longer periods.

The following table shows the preservation time of vacuum food. Please remember that
times are indicative.

Red and white meat
Fresh bread
Cured meat

Pasta, risotto, lasagne
Times refer to fresh food stored correctly
before vacuum packaging.
For cooked food, times refer to food
refrigerated immediately after vacuum
packaging.
