• Select a channel with the PROG+/PROG- buttons and
confirm using the OK button. The receiver switches to
the selected channel.
• The channel list appears after a few seconds. If it does
not appear, press LIST again.
Display Favourites list
This function can only be used if you have already added
channels to the Favourites list in the "Channel Manager"
menu. (See Page 35)
• Press the FAV button.
• Select a Favourites list using the PROG+/PROG- but-
tons and confirm with the OK button. The selected
Favourites list appears.
• Select a program using the PROG+/PROG- buttons and
confirm with the OK button. The receiver switches to
the selected channel.
• The channel list appears after a few seconds. If it does
not appear, press FAV again.
INFO Button
You can display detailed information on the current and
following programs being broadcast by the channel by
pressing the INFO button. Details on the current channel
such as frequency, bandwidth etc are also displayed.
RECALL button (Swap function)
By pressing the RECALL button, you can switch to the
previously selected program.
TV/RADIO button
Using the TV/RADIO button, you can switch between the
TV and radio channels.
NOTE:
• Through the main menu, you can also switch to TV
or radio channels. Select "TV" or "Radio" in the main
menu.
• Radio channels are not available in all broadcast
areas. Further Information can be obtained from
service providers and specialist dealers.
• If no radio channels are available, you cannot switch
to the radio channel list.
Video text
• Press TTX, to bring up the video text.
• Enter the required video text page using the digit but-
tons.
Your entry is displayed in the top, left hand corner of the
screen. After the required video text page has been entered,
your machine will search for the page. Since the video text
pages cannot be transmitted simultaneously, it may take a
few seconds until your receiver has found the page.
Page 100 is the contents page for all video text providers.
Use the PROG+ or PROG- buttons to scroll forward or
back one page.
• To switch off the video text again press EXIT.
EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
Your Digital Receiver has an electronic program guide.
This displays program information for individual channels
on the screen. You can get an overview of the programs
currently showing or on programs showing during the
day.
The EPG – functions allow you to:
• Display Information on program content on the screen
• Auto-tune broadcasts, which the receiver will auto-
matically switch to at the start of the broadcast
• Program channels
NOTE:
These functions can only be used if the selected channel
supports them.
• To display the electronic program guide, press the EPG
button.
The electronic program guide menu is displayed with the
TV channels on the left, and the broadcast of the selected
program on the right.
• Using the "red" button, switch between the TV chan-
nels and the program content of the channel.
• Using the VOL+/VOL- buttons, select the week day (up
to a max. of 7 days).
• By pressing the "yellow" button you can get detailed
information on the selected program.
• EXIT returns you to the program list.
Auto-tuning/pre-programming broadcasts
• Select the required program and press the OK button.
The "New Reservation" (auto-tuning a new program)
menu is displayed.
• Select between the following recording modes in the
"Running Mode" row: once, daily, weekly.
• In the "Methode" row, you can select between:
REC:
The auto-tuned program is recorded to a con-
nected USB device.
PLAY: When the start time arrives, the receiver
switches to the corresponding program.
• To record the data in the timer list, press OK.
• When it is time for the program to start:
- The device turns on.
- an info window is displayed, announcing the auto-
matic switchover. If you do not want the receiver to
automatically switch over, select "No" and press OK.
