The third-party detector connecting module RZT 8000 (Refurbishment Zone Transponder) Part No. 80863x.10,
is used – in the same way as an esserbus
esserbus ® -PLus of the ESSER fire alarm control panels (FACPs). Service and programming software tools
8000 are used for programming.

Up to 100 esserbus transponders / third-party detector connecting module can be connected to one fire alarm
control panel. Up to 1.000 different control zones (e.g. relays) can be programmed in a FACP with the
programming software tools 8000.
In case of a malfunction (short circuit), the optional zone isolator (Part No. 788612) disconnects the zone
between two isolators. This does not affect the function of the other devices. Power for third-party detector
connecting modules is supplied via the FACP or external power supply. Two versions of the third-party
connecting module are available for connecting individual automatic fire detectors and manual control points
from other manufacturers.

consideration:

systems.com. Consult with Technical Sales before connecting any other types.
System limits

Max. 100 RZT 8000 per FACP. The total number of RZT and esserbus
connected to one control panel is restricted to 100 devices.

Up to 31 RZT 8000 can be combined into one separate zone on one loop.
Please refer to the RZT documentation during installation of the devices.
