Wiring recognition
During wiring recognition of the loop in combination with the tools 8000 programming software it may come to
variances between the bus devices that are actually installed and those which are detected.
The Refurbishment Zone Transponder, RZT 8000 may not be properly recognised if:
operating mode 1 – relay monitored – is programmed and the output is connected (see section 6.1) and
the transponder is equipped with the optional loop isolator PCB (Part No. 788612).
increased line capacities (approx. 25 nF) at the terminals of relay output K1 and/or K2.
the required connection lines at relay outputs K1 and/or K2 are very long or the wire pairs at the end of
the line are additionally twisted.
Please check
whether operating mode 1 – relay monitored - is really needed for activation
or if it would be possible to use operating mode 3 – relay not monitored / potential free.
whether a capacitive line problem exists
(change to operating mode 3 – relay not monitored / potential free - to test this).
whether a different, perhaps shorter line path can be used.
whether the capacitive relationship can be avoided between operating mode 1 – relay monitored –
connected device and the signal ground.
