Alarm Volume Escalation

The Alarm Volume Escalation function lets you enable or disable volume

escalation
. When alarm volume escalation is Enabled and a high priority
alarm is not responded to within 40 seconds, the ventilator alarm volume
increases to maximum over an 20-second period.
When the Alarm Volume Escalation function is active and a touchscreen or
button press is detected, the ventilator automatically returns the alarm volume
to the user setting.
1. From the System Settings screen, select Alarm Volume Escalation to
display the Set Alarm Volume Escalation screen (Figure E-10).

2. The current setting is shown in the Information box at the top of the
screen. If Alarm Volume Escalation is currently Disabled, you will see
a selectable Enable button. If Alarm Volume Escalation is currently
Enabled, you will see a selectable Disable button. Press the button to
change the setting.
3. The new setting is applied after the V60/V60 Plus Ventilator is shut
down and powered on again.
1. Available in Revision 2.30 software and above.
