    Electrical Requirements NOTE: GE Healthcare requires a dedicated power and ground for the proper operation of its Ultrasound equipment. This dedicated power shall originate at the last distribution panel before the system. Sites with a mains power system with defined Neutral and Live: The dedicated line shall consist of one phase, a neutral (not shared with any other circuit), and a full size ground wire from the distribution panel to the Ultrasound outlet.

    Ultrasound machines are susceptible to Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from radio frequencies, magnetic fields, and transient in the air wiring. They also generate EMI. The LOGIQ F Series complies with limits as stated on the EMC label. However there is no guarantee that interface will not occur in a particular installation.

    How to prepare the facility and unit of the actual installation, and how to check and test the unit and external peripherals for electrical safety are included in this procedure. Also included LOGIQ F Series in this section are guidelines for transporting the unit to a new site.

    DICOM Option Dependant on the amount of configuration The LOGIQ F Series has been designed to be installed and checked out by an experienced service technician in approximately 1 hour. LOGIQ F Series consoles with optional equipment may take slightly longer.

    3-2-2 Installation Warnings 1.) Since the LOGIQ F Series weighs approximately 65 kg without options, preferably two people should unpack it.     To avoid injury by tipping over. Set the monitor to the lowest position before moving. In general, a single adult can move the LOGIQ F Series along an even surface with no steep grades. At least two people should move the machine when large humps, grooves, or grades will be encountered.
