SENSEPOINT RFD OPERATING MANUAL
RFDMAN MAN0843 Issue 3
8 Normal Operation
Sensepoint RFD is managed using a menu system, shown on its display screen,
which is configured by a Handheld Remote Interface (ZHC1).
8.1 Display Screen
The display features an LCD, an IR receiver, a LED indicator and a label identifying
the detector type. During normal operation it displays instrument status.
Caution: Gas events occurring whilst in menus are not reported locally.
The screen is visible through the window in the transmitter's cover. The display
shows the gas concentration (both graphically and numerically), range, units, alarm/
fault status, etc.
Note: The detector display may become illegible at temperatures above +55°C, but
the detector continues its gas monitoring function. The display is not damaged and
recovers when the temperature falls back below +55°C.
