Adjusting Brightness and Volume
You have the ability to adjust the brightness and volume of your monitor.
Note:
You can also adjust the volume during use, by pressing the volume button on the top of the
monitor.
To adjust the brightness and volume:
1. From the Vitals Now/Home screen, select the settings icon (

2. Select Brightness & Volume. A screen similar to the following appears:
3. To increase the brightness or volume, place your fingertip on the light bulb or speaker icon and slide
your finger to the left to decrease brightness or volume or to the right to increase brightness or volume.
4. Select the back icon. The Settings screen appears.
Taking Vital Signs
The Genesis Touch provides two options for taking vital signs. Vital signs can be scheduled so that you are
prompted, at a specific time of day selected by your care provider, to take your vital signs, or you can
initiate collection of your vital signs manually.
Before you take the first set of vital signs, ensure that you know how to use each piece of equipment. If you
have any questions about how to take your vital signs, contact your care provider.
