Using the GMPT-401 Application

You may need to upgrade the firmware if there is an update that incorporates
changes to a feature or adds functionality to the tracker. You can upgrade the
firmware in two ways:
• Using the iPhone GMPT-401 Application
• Using the USB cable and a PC
Firmware upgrades are delivered in the GMPT-401 application on the iPhone.
The application updates when a new version of firmware is available. When you
open the app it informs you that there is a new firmware version for the tracker.
Touch Upgrade. The installation takes about 3 minutes.
You can also touch Cancel on this screen if you want to upgrade the tracker at
a later time.
