Using the Tracker in Standalone Operation

Standalone operation is when you use the tracker alone, without the holder,
iPhone, or the GMPT-401 app. When using the tracker in standalone operation
you can:
• Send normal tracking messages to ViewPoint
• Activate Alert Mode to send an SOS message and tracking information to
ViewPoint
Note: You cannot send or receive messages when using the tracker in
standalone operation.
To configure the tracker in standalone operation, you must use ViewPoint. See
the ViewPoint for GMPT-401 Personal Tracker User Guide more information.
