– For configuration with telecontrol server:
The "TELECONTROL SERVER BASIC" software
– For configuration without telecontrol server

The software and the manual describing it are on the DVD that ships with the CP. For
the documentation, see References.
– The contract must allow the transfer of data using GPRS.
– The contract must allow the assignment of public IP addresses.
– If there is to be direct communication between GPRS stations ("GPRS direct" mode),
the GSM network provider must assign fixed IP addresses to the CP 1242-7 and
forward the frames to the destination subscribers.
The SIM card is inserted in the CP 1242-7.
