Troubleshooting a Wireless Network Connection
If you did not connect an Ethernet (LAN) cable, the Digital Entertainer
Elite scans for wireless networks. If it does not find your network, check
the following items:
•
The Digital Entertainer Elite cannot connect to the wireless network
while it is connected to the Ethernet network. Disconnect your
Ethernet cable.
•
Move the Digital Entertainer Elite closer to the wireless access
point or router. See
•
If there is more than one network in your area, then you must know
the network name. The network name is also called the service set
identifier (SSID).
•
If your access point or router does not broadcast its SSID, then it is
a hidden network, and the Digital Entertainer Elite cannot detect it.
