About video calls and
video conferences
The traditional keypad (dialpad)
has been omitted on this system.
Instead, the list of Contacts (or
Recent) is used to key in the name,
address or number to the one to
be called.
Your input will be compared to the
contents of the list of Contacts
as well as the list of Recent calls.
Matches will appear as you write.
If you know that the one you are
going to call already exists in either
list, you may search by scrolling up
and down in that list and press OK
once the entry is located to invoke
the green Call box as shown in
.
Conferencing. Your video system
may be able to call more than one
to initiate a video conference.
To do this, start by calling the
first participant. As soon as that
call is up and running there will
be a selectable Add+ field. By
using this you may call the next
participant in the usual way.
Systems with MultiSite built-in
can call a maximum of three
video participants and one audio-
only participant. Systems using
other solutions involving external
infrastructure may handle a larger
number of participants. Consult
your System Administrator for
more on this.
