b. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
A login screen displays.
c. Enter the router user name and password.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and
password are case-sensitive.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
7. Select ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings.
8. Scroll down and select the Use other operation mode check box and the Enable Bridge mode
radio button.
The screen adjusts.
9. Click the setup bridge mode wireless settings button.
10. Specify the 5 GHz setting of Nighthawk X6 which this router will connect.
a. In the Chose a Wireless Networks drop-down list, select Wireless Networks (5Ghz n/ac).
b. In the Name (SSID) field, enter the Nighthawk X6's wireless network name (SSID) for the
5 GHz-One Radio or 5 GHz-Two Radio.
c. In the Security Option section, select a radio button.
d. If prompted, type the passphrase (the WiFi password that you use to connect wirelessly
to the other router).
11. Click the Apply button.
The settings for the other router are saved and the Advanced Wireless Settings screen displays.
12. Click the Apply button on the Advanced Wireless Settings screen.
Your changes take effect.
13. Connect a few of the suggested devices to the Nighthawk X6's 5 GHz band.
14. Run the Iperf or IxChariot test programs.
Note: NETGEAR recommends running the Iperf or IxChaript test programs using multiple
sessions instead of a single session.
To setup the Smart Connect test using an AC1750 or AC1900 WiFi router:
1. Specify the WiFi settings on the AC1750 or AC1900 WiFi router.
2. Set up bridge mode on the R7000 and connect the AC1750 or AC1900 WiFi router to the R7000.
3. Connect a few of the suggested devices to the AC1750 or AC1900 WiFi router.
4. Run the Iperf or IxChariot test programs.
Note: NETGEAR recommends running the Iperf or IxChaript test programs using multiple
sessions instead of a single session.
