Loading a new IPL into a machine will erase any existing program in the TE-
2200/2400. Suggestion is to backup the customer program first before loading
the new IPL. A Compact Flash card can have both an IPL and multiple customer
programs.
1) Turn Mode Lock key to the PGM position
2) Enter 7 and depress the Subtotal key
3) Enter 70 and depress Subtotal
4) Enter 900 Cash (this is the procedure to save the entire program,
discussed later is uploading an entire program to this new IPL will create
compatibility problems)
5) The machine will prompt to enter a name for the program being saved,
using the alpha keyboard (if a TE-2400) or referring to the alpha code chart
on Page #119 in the program manual (if a TE-2200) enter up to an eight
character name. After entering the name depress the double zero (00) key to
terminate the alpha programming followed by the Cash key to save the file.
How to Load the IPL from CF Card to ECR
1) Turn Mode lock to the OFF position and hold down the Journal Feed key
2) Turn Mode key to "PGM" position and holding down the Journal Feed key
3) Wait a few seconds and release the Journal Feed key
4) The machine will beep and the following screen will appear
5) Open the door on left front of machine and insert the Compact Flash
Card into the slot
