There are several programming options available for online payment
applications. This section will list each of those options.
1. Debit Cash Back
2. Credit Card Manual Entry Option
3. Hospitality Options
There is a program option to allow over-tendering on a debit card transaction
for the purpose of getting cash back. There can be up to four (4) different
cash back values that can be programmed into the machine. There are
controls for allowing credit card numbers to be entered manually due to a
card swipe not being recognized or inputting a credit card number over the
phone. When entering a card number manually controls can be required to
verify the card's authenticity. Additional information such as the CVV
number, Zip Code or Address can be entered on any manual credit card
entry. Lastly, there are program options related to restaurant applications
such as credit card tips and activating restaurant mode on the credit card
device that can be activated.
The sequence to program these values are:
1) Turn the mode lock key on the cash register to the PGM position
2) Enter "3" from the numeric keyboard and hit the Subtotal key
3) Enter 2022 and depress the Subtotal key (this setting or address has a 8-
digit entry D8 ~ D1
a. D8 ~ D7 = Do not Issue Merchant Credit Receipt when below this
amount (2-digt entry, example: entering 25 would mean any
transaction $25.00 or less will not issue a merchant receipt but will
issue customer receipt)
b. D6 = (in this bit the sum of each feature is entered in D6)
i. 1 = Zip Code input required for Manual Credit Card operation
ii. 2 = CVV input required for Manual Credit Card operation
iii. 4 = Address input required for Manual Credit Card operation
c. D5 = Debit Cash Back 1
d. D4 = Debit Cash Back 2
e. D3 = Debit Cash Back 3
f. D2 = Debit Cash Back 4
