Removing the shear blades
1.
Remove the shear blades from the tool using a
screwdriver at your hand.

NOTE:
Be careful not to get your hands dirty as grease is
applied in the shear blade driving area.

Remove the crank from the shear blades.

The crank can sometimes remain in the tool.
Installing the shear blade

Prepare 4 removed screws, crank and new shear
blades.

Place washer 8, gear, washer 28 and crank onto
the pin. At this time, apply some grease remaining
shear blades to the periphery of the crank.

Secure the shear blades temporarily by passing
the screw through the A hole so that the shear
blades does not come out of place. (The holes in
upper and lower blades in the B area are just
overlapped.) Use one out of four removed screws
for this temporary securing.

6.
Remove the blade cover from the old shear
blades and sheathe the new ones using this blade
cover so that the new blades can be easily and
safely held during the replacement of blades.
