Applications
Once you've finished setting up your MCX-2000
(and MusicCAST clients), you can start using it as
a music server. This section explains how you
can play and record audio sources on the
MCX-2000, and stream music to the clients over
the MusicCAST network. .
Playing Audio Sources
The

supports playback of

sources, and they are accessible from Hie Library sc::reen
opened fronl the Top fv1enu. Select Top iv1enu

the follo\Jving screen.
CD
Select this \Nhen listening to a CD set in tile MCX-2000.
Supported CDs are rTiusic CDs (CD·,DA) and

CDs (CD
RO~Jl).
Since the
rv1CX-2000
can track the file hierarchy in an

CD
(up to eiqht levGls), you can play sonqs orqanized in
folders or directories.
Inputs
Select this vvhen listening to incorning analog or digital auc.iio
signals frorn an external device. Playback control for these
external inputs should be done trorY! the external (j8vice.
