When playing a VIDEO CD/Super
VCD:
Elapsed playing time of the current scene/
track and title of the disc
When playing an AUDIO CD or VIDEO
CD without PBC function:
1 Elapsed playing time of the current
track
2 Remaining time of the current track
3 Elapsed playing time of the current
disc
4 Remaining time of the current disc
5 Elapsed playing time of the current
track and title of the disc
When playing audio files or video
files:
Elapsed playing time of the current file

If an MP3 audio file has the ID3 tag, the
system will display an album name or title
name from the ID3 tag information. The
system supports ID3 ver 1.0/1.1/2.2/2.3. ID3
ver 2.2/2.3 tag information display has
priority when both ID3 ver 1.0/1.1 and ver
2.2/2.3 tags are used for a single MP3 audio
file.

"NO TEXT" appears on the TV screen if the
DVD VIDEO is not a DVD-TEXT disc, the
AUDIO CD is not a CD-TEXT disc or the
VIDEO CD does not have text information.
Notes
• The Control Menu display will show different
items depending on the disc type.
• Only alphabet letters, numbers and some
symbols can be displayed.
• Depending on the disc and USB device, the
system can only display a limited number of
characters.
• For audio files and video files with format
other than ISO 9660 Level 1 and Level 2,
folder title and file title may not be displayed.
Displaying the audio information of
the disc
(DVD VIDEO and video files only)
When you press AUDIO repeatedly
during playback, the format of the current
audio signal is displayed on the TV
screen.

When playing a DVD VIDEO:
For example, in Dolby Digital format,
multiple signals ranging from monaural to
5.1 channel signals can be recorded on a
DVD VIDEO. Depending on the DVD
VIDEO, the number of recorded channels
may differ.

The symbols shown on the TV screen
represent the audio signal channels which
are output from different speakers.
• L: Front Left
• R: Front Right
• C: Center
• LS: Surround Left
• RS: Surround Right
• S: Surround signal which is produced
from Dolby Surround Sound processing
or monaural surround audio signal.
• LFE: Low Frequency Effect
