To remove the USB device

Press x to stop playback.

Press "/1 to turn off the system.

Remove the USB device.
Transferring by single button
press
You can transfer tracks, MP3 audio files
or audio sources simply onto an USB
device by using REC TO
the unit.
CD-USB Synchronized Transfer:
You can easily transfer all the music on a
disc to an USB device.
REC 1 Transferring:
You can easily transfer a single track or
file that is currently being played back
onto an USB device.
Analog Transferring:
You can transfer the sound from analog
audio sources to an USB device.

Prepare the transferring source.
CD-USB Synchronized Transfer
and REC 1 Transferring:
Press FUNCTION +/– repeatedly to
select "DVD" (or press DVD on the
unit).
Load the disc you want to transfer.
If you have loaded the disc, press
DISC SKIP repeatedly (or DISC 1 ~ 3
on the unit) to select the disc. When the
system automatically starts playback,
press x twice to cancel resume play.
Analog Transferring:
Press FUNCTION +/– repeatedly (or
press function button on the unit) to
select audio source you want (except
for DVD and USB function).

Tips
• When transferring from tape, if the
playback direction of the tape is set to
"j", the system will transfer both sides
of the tape five times. If you want to stop
at one transferring, be sure to set the
playback direction of the tape to "g".
• Transferring from tape continues even
though tape playback has ended.

Set the USB device to stand by
for transferring.
CD-USB Synchronized Transfer:
Press REC TO
"Reading", "xxx XByte Free Space"*
and "Push ENTER" appear in the
display.
REC 1 Transferring:
Start playing the track or file you want
to transfer, then press REC TO
on the unit.
"Reading", "xxx XByte Free Space"*
and "Push ENTER" appear in the
display.
Analog Transferring:
Start play back the source you want.
Then, press REC TO
"Please Wait", "xxx XByte Free
Space"* and "Push ENTER" appear in
the display.
* Remaining space on the USB device

Press ENTER.
"Don't Remove USB Device" appear
in the display.
Transferring starts.
No sound is output during transferring.
CD-USB Synchronized Transfer:
When the transfer is completed, the
disc and USB device stop
automatically.
