Setting the speakers – SPEAKER
SETUP
To obtain the best possible surround
sound, set the connection of the speakers
you have connected and their distance
from your listening position. Then, use
the test tone to adjust the level and the
balance of the speakers to the same level.
The default settings are underlined.
Note
You cannot perform SPEAKER SETUP when
you connect headphones or microphones to the
unit.
CONNECTION
FRONT: YES
CENTER:
YES: Normally select this.
NONE: Select this if the center speaker is
not connected.
SURROUND:
BEHIND: Select this if the surround
speakers are located in section B.
SIDE: Select this if the surround speakers
are located in section A.
NONE: Select this if the surround
speakers are not connected.

SURROUND 3.0 m
speaker distance from the listening
position can be set in 0.2 meter
increments from 0.0 to 7.0 meters.
