PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

ADJUSTING THE SCRAPER

WARNING
Position the Snowblower on a level sur-
face.
1. Stop the engine and remove the engine
switch key.
2. Loosen the nuts.
3. Loosen the left and right bolts.

4. Adjust the clearance to the road surface
by moving the scraper.

TIP
Adjust the clearance between the scraper
end and the road surface so that it be-
comes equal to or greater than the clear-
ance between the auger end and the road
surface.

5. Be sure the scraper is horizontal, and
then tighten the nuts and bolts to the
specified torques.
Tightening torque:
Nut:
9 N·m (0.9 kgf·m, 6.6 lb·ft)
Bolt:
23 N·m (2.3 kgf·m, 17 lb·ft)
